Restaurant Zum Schlossturm in Auerbach

RESTAURANT ZUM SCHLOSSTURM- a restaurant that is located just adjacent to the Castle Tower. The only thing i can say is that it has a very interesting setting because the location is right on top of a hill. This elevation makes the difference because you will have a wide view of the City of Auerbach while setting outside enjoying the meals. Foods? No comment for the meantime. We didn't have the possibility to taste anything! Due to Covid-19 everything is under locked down! Maybe we have luck next time then i will add my comment :-(

Great. We were there on September 19th and loved it. From the starter, through the main course, to the dessert, everything was first class. Everything fried to the point and seasoned very, very harmoniously. A very nice ambience that is cherished and cared for. Nice staff and a very nice owner with a lot of knowledge. Always happy 🤗

The environment and the restaurant are very good. The food and service were great. We recommend climbing the tower, 180 steps. Ideally after dinner, then the desserts can be enjoyed with peace of mind.

Very nice location. The service seemed very stressed at the beginning, as apparently a larger company was also there. The dishes and the ambience did not confirm the first impression and I can give the 5 stars without hesitation.

Nice restaurant with beer garden from which you can look over the whole city. The food was excellent. We had 2 times Schäufele and once Sauerbraten, which was really delicious. I found the waiting time, which was the first hour, too long. Nevertheless, you can recommend the restaurant. The service was very friendly. 👍

A very nice place to enjoy a great evening with good food. The ambience is very nice and the outside area with the great view is really wonderful. The dishes are fresh and tasty. Whether something from the region or a delicious salad with delicious fish, everyone will find something here. The host is very friendly and does everything to make your stay special. Finally, a delicious dessert and then the evening was perfect. Also worth mentioning are the great lemonades from Limoment. Apple mint is my favorite.

From the first meeting at the end of the celebration a few weeks ago to the farewell at the end of the celebration after midnight, everything was absolutely great and professional !!! The owner Steffen Fohlert lives absolutely honest hospitality and we felt very comfortable, welcome and very well looked after every moment. The food was really perfect, despite another party on the upper floor, the team managed to bring almost all of the food to the tables almost simultaneously in a really excellent quality. Nobody had to wait too long for anything, thank you again for the wonderful evening! The prices are completely reasonable for this quality, especially in this ambience! We always love to come back here.

We ate very, very tasty here, the service was very friendly and also very child-friendly. The waiting time for food was sweetened with freshly baked bread and dip. Recommend it to everyone. The ambience is amazing. Would give 10 stars too

The location is awesome! Service and owner are super nice and friendly. The food is great. If you're in the area, don't miss it! In summer you can sit outside and have a wonderful view. Today we had a little bit of bad luck with the weather, but it's nice inside too 😊

Ambience very nice. Own beer super. 1 hour waiting for food. Meat and fish delicious. Side dishes good to poor. With my beef steak, side dishes were not fresh. Serving size small. Prices inappropriately high.

Super nice ambience, very good, appealing and tasty cuisine, super friendly and knowledgeable staff. A flagship for the Vogtland. With Mr. Fohlert and his team, a highly competent man acts here to brew beer and the regional history of beer in our region as well as the regional gastronomy. thank you

It was just wonderful. We were greeted very friendly by the boss and also visited the tower. The ambience, the drinks and the food were great. We would love to come back. Especially to say hello to my four-legged friend. 😉

Recently discovered on one of my trips. The attached restaurant was closed, but the menu made a good impression. Will probably visit in the near future. Otherwise, a wonderful view of large parts of Auerbach. The tower is loud walk-posted even free. My pictures are, however, made from below. It is certainly much more beautiful at the top.
